IT IS NOT A MIL-SIM, all your arguments are invalid. they can do whatever the hell they want and this imaginary standard you have in your head after reading a snippet of PR about realistic gunplay is totally unreasonable and will never ever happen!

@cyoce not in original insurgency, could kill people far faster with semi-auto a lot of the time.
just because you can fire more bullets doesn't mean it's better.

when my 360 controller is plugged in (or connected wirelessly) I can't use my keyboard in game. not a big deal but kind of annoying bug making me restart the game every time I forget to disconnect my controller before starting the game.

@tactixx you obviously new to this series.
"Imagine getting shot from 200 feet, tapped by a pistol and dying lol"
literally never happened, pistols were only good at close range cuz geuss what that's what pistols do, now they're virtually useless...

same kind of goes for all other weapons, one hit kills were possible but it was all about shot placement and range. again just like in real life. thought the whole goal here was realism.....

well you wouldn't be targeting the vest with a knife you'd go for the neck or something, also stabs are pretty easy to aim on an unsuspecting enemy

delaying it seems like the right decision, unfortunate but if it makes the game better I'm all for it.

yes because that's without armor and most people are wearing heavy armor making it require a lot more most of the time.

@benz all. Making single fire viable by increasing dmg via f.e. AP rounds makes full auto even more viable.

which is why they should increase recoil, in INS2 you could kill with 1 or 2 bullets but recoil was pretty high making full auto really powerful but also hard to use. you had to be pretty good at recoil control to spray at anyone at a distance

and guess what that's kind of how it works IRL. soldiers have full auto on most of their weapons but they shoot single fire if the target is at long range.

with a high TTK like they currently have it's not realistic at all though IMO, a lot of gunfights at range are these long drawn out battles where you chip away at each other's health. it's not uncommon for me (or my enemy) to take a hit and go back into cover, than they pop out and take another hit and go back into cover. feels more like a paintball match than deadly combat if you ask me.....
