Critical Bug Game Crashing After Seeing the Focus Logo

As mentioned in the title my game crashes instantly after seeing the Focus Logo. The game worked perfectly fine until one day I decided to change the resolution from 1440p down to 1080p. The game worked fine even after the change for a couple of days. After that, everything went south. It keeps crashing when I try to enter the game and I've not yet found a way to fix this.
My PC set up is as followed:

Intel core i7-6700k
GTX 1080
16G of 3000Mhz RAM
Intel M.2 512GB SSD

Please help, I love this game but can't play it at the moment.

I can't imagine the resolution change to be responsible. Take a few steps back, think about what you did on your machine up until the game didn't work anymore. What did you install and uninstall? Sometimes it's a seemingly small thing like a video codec, at other times it's a hardware defect that suddenly occured. You might wanna find some tech-savy dude nearby to help you out if the ordinary steps like reinstalling drivers and verifying the cache doesn't work out.

Have you taken any of the ordinary steps yet?

I don't think there is anything to do with my hardwares since everything else works perfectly fine. Also I've checked every single driver for the hardwares and these seems good as well. Only thing I can think of that might have changed my PC is the updates from NVIDA, I have not install or uninstall anything during the days.

Also I've got into the crash file if it helps at all.

I'd suggest to roll back the NVidia drivers to a previous version, and try a clean uninstall before you downgrade. You can use the display driver uninstaller for this: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/

Problem solved, it is indeed due to the 1080p resolution settings. I tweaked down my screen resolution to 1080p and the game worked perfectly fine. Since I discovered these lines of code inside the log (shown as below)

In conclution, if any one has the same problem with me, changing the screen resolution to match in game resolution will solve this issue.

Also, as a reminder for developers, it will be much appreciated to fix this bug. The problem is the ResizeBuffers since this feature seems to work incorrectly.

This is odd though, i can reduce resolution without problems. It might still be a driver problem.
